CertiChip is a Canadian semiconductor
intellectual property (IP) company specializing in circuit
techniques and architectures to improve the robustness of
integrated circuits (ICs) manufactured in advanced CMOS processes
at or below 90 nanometers. CertiChip has developed and patented
cost-effective methods of providing protection against
radiation-induced soft errors in
devices where speed, memory capacity and reliability are of
critical importance. These circuit techniques apply to both memory
and logic elements, they do not require any special processing, and
have been demonstrated to achieve a greater than 50X reduction in
soft error rates at a relatively low cost when compared to
traditional solutions. CertiChip is continuing to develop and
patent new circuit techniques to improve the robustness of SRAM's
at 40nm and below in a cost effective manner.

Licensing
CertiChip engages with
potential customers to help them solve their problems before they
happen. Once the problem has been defined and a suitable CertiChip
solution has been identified we execute a patent license agreement
to give you access to the technology. At that point we engage with
your design engineering teams to assist them in incorporating
CertiChip's technology into your product(s).
